We only have one and we try to keep it under $250. DS gets a TON of stuff from family. He gets from my parents, his aunts and uncles, DH's parents, some of my extended family, his dad, his dad's parents, and his step-mom's family. I mean, seriously, its almost ridiculous the amount of stuff he gets from family (not including DH and I).

We'd spend even less on him but to be honest, we love for him to see all the presents under the tree and the excitement of opening them. We always end up with too much stuff, but its so hard to cut back

Next to nothing.

We have generous family that give him more than he needs!

And I try to really keep toys at a minimum - just to what he really enjoys, uses, and needs. I also try to do the same with clothing. I'm constantly turning over, going through and saving what we can and donating what can be donated. I'm a clutter-nazi.

I don't want him to get too much from us or anyone, for that matter. I want him to recognize that it is Christ's birthday - not his.

We don't have a set amount, maybe we should. I get them what I think is "enough". I am really against spoiling our kids. Last year I realized I had way too much for DD so I wound up actually taking away many of the gifts I had originally put under the tree (this was all done after the kids were asleep so they had no idea). As a pp said, I want our kids to know that we're celebrating Christ's birthday, not Santa.

If I had to guess I'd say I spent $150-$300 each last . DS was much cheaper because he wasn't even a year old and his 1st bday was the following month so I didn't want to go overboard. How much can you buy a 1 year old anyway?

DD is 2 and doesn't grasp the concept of Christmas and santa. im spending $100.

A lot! There's no budget for the kids when it comes to Xmas and Santa! This will be my first year with my DS but for the past 5 xmases DD has been seriously spoiled! Birthdays don't even come close to Xmas. As long as they believe in the magic we will do this!

Since DD is so young (6 months) we were able to buy a ridiculous amount of stuff for not so much money.. I have spent around $75 and DH has spent around $50 and I think we need to stop bc it's sort of a waste bc she won't have any clue. BUT my brother spends about $500 each on his kids - maybe more.. bc as they get older they start asking for presents and a video game alone is $50 or a tablet could be like $200 easily.

I don't have a budget i just try to watch what i spend...I bargain shop-use Kohl's cash; Amazon lighening deals; Target cartwheel is offering 50% off select toys every day!

I'd say I spent under $100 after all the deals and i got DS like 7 items! The Kohls $10 off $25 really helped combined with my kohls cash.
