Best Caribbean vacation for little kids?
We are looking in to going somewhere warm! Anytime between this coming January and May. Our kids are 4 and 6. They don't like getting splashed in the face - so big water slides, etc aren't really great for them. Safety is huge!!! It doesn't have to be super fancy, but good food is important!
Any suggestions for a great family friendly, not too expensive, tropical vacation spot?
We would love to go to Atlantis, but it's pretty expensive and I think we should wait to go there when the kids are older and can enjoy it more.
Beaches Turks and Caicos looks awesome - but too pricey for us I think.
Coconut Bay in St Lucia?
Other suggestions?

We are headed to Punta Cana in the DR in a couple weeks with our 4&5 year olds. We are staying at The Reserve Paradisus @Palma Real. My hubby & I have been to this resort prior without our kids & were extremely impressed. There's a great area for the kids to play & the ocean is so calm in that area

For value, I would recommend the Dominican Republic. Nice beaches and very good prices. When DH was still training and not making money, we stayed at Majestic Elegance and had a good time with our baby.

FDR Pebbles looks nice in Jamqica. Super family-centric, each family gets their own nannies, and much cheaper then Breezes. I believe Melia Resorts have good childrens activities too. A cruise us always an option as well.

Are you saying this a nice resort period or a nice resort if you have a low budget and no other options ?
