Wiping becomes a whole lot harder when potty training!
Seriously, I feel like laying my Dr down on the floor so I can wipe her butt after she goes potty... totally didn't expect this obstacle!

I hear that! In the beginning I would sometimes bring him into his room and use a wipe to make sure he was all clean!

We aren't potty training yet, but I was thinking about this and if I should buy flushble wipes.

I did put ds on his back to wipe or had him hunch over. But we still use wipes to be honest.

We just use regular baby wipes still. In fact we ALL use them. Just know that even if they say "flushable" they are NOT flushable. We learned that the hard way when Roto Roter had to come down for an emergency call on a Sunday to the tune of $400.
Make sure you never ever flush wipes.

Wiping becomes a whole lot harder when potty training!
I just have her lean forward as far as she can without falling off the toilet and wipe.
Been using the pampers flushable wipes for over 3 years and have never had a problem with them flushing.

Neither did we. Until we did. And it was epic. The plumber basically told us he loves those things because they keep him in business. But in reality nothing should ever be flushed in your system other than toilet paper

I just had DS put one foot up on the closed potty lid and then I would go in with TP, then follow up with a wipe.

I use the Target Flushable Wipes with no issues - knock on wood!
I have her lean forward and hold on to my arm and then I wipe her. She's never fallen off the toilet.

Thanks for sharing. We just started potty training and have been using the flushable wipes because I thought they were actually flushable. I think I will go back to the regular wipes and not flush them.

Avoid the flushable wipes they don't dissolve! Just had to have our cesspool pumped and it was filled with those flushable wipes. They guy told us he sees it all the time in houses with little kids!
We just lean them all the forward to wipe.

OMG my friend was just saying this -- and his son is FIVE!! He's like the potty training is nothing - but I still need to assist him in wiping his arse, even at FIVE! LOL!!

Yep. When DD tries to wipe herself, it's skid mark central!
I find that when wiping her it's easiest to tell her to bend over and touch her toes. Then i use a wipe.

Daycare has totally prepared me for the toddler wipe. DD says "I bend for you" SHe hasnt gotten the Poop in the potty, just Poop near the potty down pat. She has to see it go in the toilet from the diaper. Its a work in progress.

DD bends over and touches toes. Makes it very easy to clean.

DD daycare has them do downward facing dog to wipe. I do it hat home. Works like a charm. I still use a baby wipe. Then throw it right in the trash.

We've never had this problem since we moved to a town with sewers, flush whatever you want. Riverhead takes it
