TMI .... Potty training & wiping question

DS has been trained since he was 3. Now, he's almost 3.5. He's doing great ... no accidents day or night, able to use public bathrooms, etc. but the problem is he's not wiping after #2 well enough.

Just curious what BTDT moms have experienced at this later stage of potty training.

I still wipe my 4.5 yr old

I think I stopped wiping my 6 yr old the summer right before she started kindergarten so 4 turning 5

My DD is almost 4.5. Potty trained since 3 months shy of turning 3. I still wipe her when she poops. I know she isn't capable of wiping good right now. And that makes me cringe. We will work on soon as she will going to kindergarten next year.

My DD was trained since 26 months... She will be 4 in Nov and no way do I let her wipe for #2 lol I think I will be wiping till college.

I let DS wipe himself.
He's 3 (almost).
I don't see the harm.
It's a learning process.
I wash his butt every afternoon...
A little streak never killed anyone.

My DD will be 5 next month and we still wipe her BUT we've been working on having her wipe herself this summer because she starts Kindergarten in September.
