How do you dress in weather like this?

Literally freezing in the morning but warm in the afternoon. Especially by me In a ct.

Does this warrant winter coats? Lol. I'm just not sure to take dr to school who will also play outside!

I would put DD's winter jacket on if I were taking her to school. I work right across the street from a school and all the kids have winter jackets on.

Usually a light long sleeve shirt for the boys with jeans and a hooded zipper sweatshirt. For the morning they are inside and usually go out on the playground later in the afternoon. By then in the sun it is warmer so the sweatshirts should be fine.

Supposed to go up to low 60's today. Even in high 50's in the sun with no wind it's not bad.

I put my kids in long sleeve shirts, fleece sweat shirts, and then a thick fall jacket.

Fall jacket. It is going to warm up later and we go from the pre-heated car, a few steps into the school..

My DS went to daycare today in a long sleeve T, hoodie and a vest. Layers is the way to go cause then they can put whatever is needed on him for recess.

My son went to nursery school today in a long sleeve shirt with a t shirt on top, then hoodie, then lined shell. Lots of light layers. Hopefully his teachers will know how many layers to use when they go outside to play!

thanks everyone. I have the 3 in 1 jacket so we wore the fleece part with long sleeve shirt and I threw the outer layer in her back pack. She then wanted hat and gloves so we went all in lmao

My oldest (5) is always hot - I put him in lined windpants, a long sleeve hooded T, a short sleeve T over that - and a sherpa lined zip up hoodie, with his puffer vest over that ..........

My younger son - I put the same outwear on (sherpa lined hoodie and vest) with a warmer under layer

We layer. Daycare removes and put back on clothes as needed.

Fall coat. My dd goes outside to play everyday at school it's too hot for a winter coat in the afternoon.

I put my 7 month old in a short sleeve onesie, long sleeve shirt, pants, socks, a hat, and then covered her in a blanket while she was in her car seat. When it got warmer, I removed the hat and blanket.

For DD, we have a fleece from last year & a long sleeve shirt.
