How do you dress your child(ren) for the weather?

DS is 21 months and goes to daycare. Some mornings it's a little chilly but then it has been warming up (we are OOS). I try to keep an eye on the hourly weather reports. So, when do you put them in shorts?

I try to go by this:

90 and higher (at home only): diaper and onesie
80 and highter: shorts and tee shirt
70s: pants and short sleeve shirt
60s: pants, short sleeve shirt and windbreaker for outside
50s: pants and long sleeve if will be outside with a light fleece or short sleeves for mostly inside

I think his daycare keeps the room at 70 for the warmer months.

Why not just put on short sleeves & then a zip up sweatshirt.????
