Do you talk...
to your belly?
I know they say it's good and your baby can hear you, but I always feel so silly talking out loud to my baby. My DH talks to my belly all the time (which I think is adorable) - but am I weird for not doing it too?

I do, but it is usually when I am alone. DH tries to talk to her too to get her used to his voice.

Re: Do you talk...
Not all the time, but I thinmk at this point (36 weeks) I ask him to come out all the time. I tell him "Come on out Luca, mommy's done."

Re: Do you talk...
We both do. It's realy cute when DH does. When he leaves for work in the morning I always catch him kissing my forehead and then kissing my belly and telling the baby to "be good to Mommy today. Love you little one". The first couple of times I caught him it made me cry.

Re: Do you talk...
Not really..I talk so much already I think the baby needs a break. DH talks to my stomach. I always look away to give him his privacy

Ditto!
My husband has been making karate noises at my belly because he wants the baby to kick me since I haven't felt anything yet! It's hysterical really, but I keep telling him he's going to scare the baby. ;)

Re: Do you talk...
I tell the baby to stop kicking me or stop headbutting me. Its not like a serious talk just general statements.

Re: Do you talk...
Sometimes. If he is very fidgety and constantly moving, I usually say something like "baby boy, what's wrong. calm down" and he does. but, i think that is more of a coincidence.

Re: Do you talk...
I talk enough for my job so I feel he doesn't need a special conversation.
DH does it all the time. And guess what, he really starts kicking when he's been doing it lately.
I can't believe our son already favors dad. The same thing happened with my pets...they like him more
