Lion King on Broadway
For those of you who have seen The Lion King on Broadway, what age would you take a LO to see it?

Re: Lion King on Broadway
We took each of our girls to their 1st B'Way show for their 4th birthday; in fact, DD2 was Lion King. I would not take any child to any Broadway show before that age--especially NOT Lion King because the tickets are like $150!

Lion King on Broadway
I saw it. I don't think I would take dd until she was at least 3 or 4.

Re: Lion King on Broadway
I've seen it before kids... Love broadway & went to many shows.
DS is 4 & there is no way I would take him...
We go everywhere with him: restaurants, weddings, etc. he is very well behaved, as is his 2 yr old sister.
However, we did take both of them to the Rockettes Christmas spectacular last year. The seats were amazing (4th row). Their attention span is just not long enough. I'd guess 5 or 6 would be better.
On the flip side, we loved big apple circus, & cirque de soleil with the kids at young ages & they loved the shows. Those are more visually stimulating & have a shorter segment time.
Personally, I'd wait much longer for broadway.

Lion King on Broadway
DD just went yesterday - she is almost 5. I took her to see Aladdin when sh was 4.5 and she was great. She is now obsessed with Broadway and wants to go constantly lol. I think that with the Disney shows 4-5 is a good age.

Re: Lion King on Broadway
My daughter is 4 and she has seen Lion King and Aladdin. She loved both of them and was perfect. She didn't even get out of her seat during the intermissions. However, you really have to know your child. I think Aladdin was a better first show though she said that she liked Lion King better. The best seats for LK are the orchestra on the aisle because the parade of animals walk by. For Aladdin, I got first row mezzanine. The view was great but I was a bit worried she would fall off the balcony.
