How to calculate your 2ww date?
Can someone explain? I thought it depended on the day you ovulate, but some women seem to already know their 2WW date for the end of the month. Do people ovulate at the same time every month? My period is irregular so I know this adds an extra layer to getting pregnant . . . TIA!

The women that already know are regular women, if you are irregular I would set the date based on when you know you ovulated. If you are JUST starting to try, I would spend a little bit of time not using predictors first, and just "having fun". It can get kinda crazy after a period, and you don't want to put crazy stress on yourselves right away.

Re: How to calculate your 2ww date?
Thank you!! I've used OPKs some months and others I've skipped it. I usually calculate the 2ww based on when I get the high reading, which has typically been on day 12, but then my period is irregular anyway, 28 days +.

Re: How to calculate your 2ww date?
It should be 14 days from when you ovulate to when you get your period. The irregular part of a cycle should be the time leading up to ovulation. Mine varies from 26-42 days when left to its own devices. But my luteal phase was never less then 12 and usually 14 days. If it's any shorter or longer then that you should tell your OB..
Maybe your not ovulating when you think you are. Do you temp?
