Need New Dr Rec… late appointments
Hey everyone!
So I'm 12W and looking for a new Dr. Would like to deliver at either Winthrop or LIJ-Katz. Additionally, I just got a new job so I am hoping to find someone who takes late appointments during the week. (5:30pm or later) or Saturday appointments (if they exist.)

Need New Dr Rec… late appointments
I usually get later appointments (around 6pm) with Women 4 Women OBGYN. Their offices are located right next door (literally) to LIJ-Katz hospital. I see Dr. Nicole Bell and think she is great -- very caring, takes her time with you, etc. The rest of the doctors are all female -- Dr. Ostroff, Dr. Sanders, Dr. Duncan and NP Amy Newman. I will say that the women working at the desk are not always super pleasant, but I am willing to deal with periodic attitude to feel comfortable and happy with the doctor who will deliver my child when the time comes.

Dr. Plancher in Garden City right by Roosevelt Field Mall. ...he is affiliated with Winthrop.

I see Dr Dilena but there are three other drs to choose from. I haven't met the others yet, but friends also see Dr. LoPresti. I can only go in the evenings too and they are open till 8:30pm.
I LOVE Dr. Dilena, he is a doll, very thorough and very caring. They are affiliated with Winthrop.

Before I moved out of state I used Long Island Women's Health Care Group. They are affiliated with Winthrop and open till 9pm at least a few nights a week plus Saturday mornings. I went to the mineola office but they also see patients in new Hyde park and syosset. I loved the doctors there but have to admit the front desk staff could be pretty rude and unhelpful. It was worth putting up with them though for the doctors.

I used to go after work too, my OB did late nights on Wed & Thurs I believe. Dr. Nadel in Mineola, down the block from Winthrop. He is super nice and the only dr. there. Good luck!

He's with my group now. I get to meet him in a few weeks. Glad to hear he is nice.
