easter basket
Where can I find a plain wicker basket? I ordered the liner on PBK but refuse to pay their prices for the actual basket. I looked at Michael's and all they had was a white painted one. The white paint was chipping off all the baskets in the store. I also looked at Home Goods. I'm pretty far from Christmas Tree Stores but I know that might be my only option.

Re: easter basket
ugh 4 years ago I had no problem getting basket at Michaels to fit dd's pb liner
this year for dd2 I am having the worst time. I bought one at micheals, it's to small, I forgot the liner at home. I went to Joanns with the liner and got one but it's not that deep, and it still doesn't fit it properly. I checked XMas tree and five below and they didn't have big enough baskets at all.I haven't checked homegoods yet. I don't know why it's so hard this year

Ugh, I'm in the same boat!! I ordered what I thought was the basket & personalized liner from PBK, only to receive the liner only yesterday. I should have read the description where it says "basket sold separately" but it was all shown in the picture and I just assumed for $25 that it included the basket. I am debating about just paying the $38 for the basket, because I agree, all the baskets I've seen in stores are cheap/broken/chipping.

It is near impossible to find a basket to fit that liner.... Believe me... I searched high and low last year only to settle on one from big lots that sorta fit the best. Just buy the basket from pbk and save yourself the headache!

Re: easter basket
Home goods has some with pretty liners for 14.99 but you could just take the liner out and put the pbk ones in.

Re: easter basket
I just went back to Michael's to return and found a wicker (brown) basket that fits perfectly for 12 bucks in their regular basket section. Took a little diggin around

It's a lot but the baskets are a really good quality. I have had one for four years now and it looks great. So you keep it for so long you get your money's worth.

Re: easter basket
I bought the white painted one from Michael's about 3 weeks ago. I guess I got lucky bc I found 2 that did not have chipped paint. But honestly my DSs are 2.5 and newborn, so I definitely wasn't spending the $$ on the PB baskets. Maybe when they get a little older. The baskets I bought from Michael's fit the liners pretty perfectly, so I'm happy. Maybe try a different Michaels to see if they have the white baskets in better shape?
