a peeps bubble blower

fingerpaint

a dora the explorer puppet

a ball that lights up

a little duck that quacks (she LOVES ducks!)

I am also doing a couple of toys for her..

Bottles and a cradle for the baby doll.

I may also put in little snack size bags of goldfish or cookies. No candy at all!

I haven't started yet. I am thinking a few lollipops, a stuffed bunny or duck and some clothes.

Target had a bunch of Sesame Street things in the $1 section so I got things there (coloring book, pencil case, lunch sack).
I also got her an easter themed play-do thing.
She'll get a little bit of candy.
Probably some sunglasses.

I am not going to do a huge basket b/c I think the meaning of why we celebrate gets over shadowed.. I'll probably get her a book and a few trinkets..

Since DS does understand the whole basket thing, I just brought him a few things. I brought him 2 DVDs and a book.

same here!
DD is 22 months, and in her basket I have:
a Dora bubble blower with bubbles
Crayons and a Wiggles coloring book
a new CD (she LOVES music!)
and some candy...but not much since most of it is still a choking hazard at this age.
That's probably all, she will probably get baskets from her grandparents on both sides, as well as her aunt (my sister), so I don't want to overdo it.

ITA!!!! My ILs buy the grandkids a ton of stuff for Easter and I just don't have the nerve to tell them not to do that. Meanwhile, they don't even go to church, but feel the need to make a spectacle with the huge baskets. Anyway...

I'm just getting a chocolate bunny, some assorted candy and probably that's it. I may get a bib and some teething biscuits etc. for my little one.

Same here!! Ha..my mom hid those eggs at night and we ATE them the next day. I guess no one cared about food poisioning back then did they Chat Icon

I actually have my eye on a "pre-made" basket I saw for DS. It comes with a scooby skateboard and since he loves both of those, I just might get it and save myself the fight of wrapping the basket in cellaphane myself Chat Icon

DS will be 3 months and I put in some board books and two cute onsies with cute sayings on them, I also got him a personalized basket from lillian vernon. In my family we just got little things (similar to stocking stuffers) in our basket.

Ava has a peanut allergy, so that rules out all chocolate and a lot of other candy.

I got a big, new basket and grass
stuffed bunny
a chicken that lays gumball egg
silly putty
Disney Princess lip gloss
Ariel talking camera
a bendable bunny
bubbles
beach toys
tattoos

as for candy: tootsie rolls, cheeps and twizzlers
