Clomid question
This cycle was my first with clomid. The dr gave me a prescription before I had my period so when I did get it I was ready to take it on the 3rd day. I'm 16 dpo on the first clomid cycle. no af and all bfn. I'm counting myself out. The dr won't give me the prescription for the next round without me having my period. So I'm suppose to call when that happens. But not having it ready is stressing me out. Which probably isn't helping. For any clomid takers...I'd this how your dr does it? Im confused why it was ok the first time. I was initially worried about the weekend (they have no office hours) except the emergency num. I'm scared if I miss the 3rd day because my last cycle was 86 days. Any thoughts?!

Clomid question
My Dr would not give me the next script until they did a sono to check ti make sure all was good. I took mine on day 5 so I never missed anything. Its normal not to give the script ahead of time.
I am assuming you are doing this with your OB? I would suggest seeing an RE so you can get monitored and don't have to worry about the office being closed all weekend. Would your OB open on a Sun to do an IUI if needed? Most likely not. IMO OB offices are not set up to handle fertility treatments as they sometimes need to be done on weekends etc.

Clomid question
It is thru my OB. They did a sono last Monday to see if I ovulated. Which i did. They said I could call the emergency number and the on call dr. Would be paged if they weren't open. But I'll look into a RE. Thankyou!

Did they do a Progesterone check? Follicle check prior to O to see how many follicles you developed?
I would go see an RE. OB's don't always know what's best to do for getting someone pregnant. There is a lot that goes into even a clomid cycle in terms of bloodwork and sonos for monitoring.
Keep in mind there is also a limit to how many times you can take clomid = they say it is dangerous to take after 6 plus cycles.
An RE will know what is best for you.

Re: Clomid question
I agree. Don't waste a cycle of clomid at your OB. Head to an RE if you are ready for medicated cycles.

No Progesterone check, they did a sono to check if I ovulated or not, which they said I did. No blood work so far.

Then they don't know definitely / there could have been zero follicles there to begin with.
