Lovenox Girls...
At what point in your pregnancy did you stop injecting on your love-handles (where I was told to start from beginning)? Where do you inject now?
My bruising has increased a lot in the last week or so - 18w tomorrow.

Same. did it till the very end of my first pregnancy and am still at it this time around at almost 32 weeks.
Why were you told to stop injecting there, and where did they advise you to inject instead?

They haven't told me to change at all yet, but I've heard before or read somewhere people start injecting in the thigh later in their pregnancy? I'll continue the love handles it sounds like for now. Just figured by now, the bruising wouldn't be as bad because I know how to do it.

if you want to you can, if your love handles are hard to reach because of your belly... but theres no way i could have done anywhere except love handles.

I always did love handles. Alternated sides until switched to heparin at 36 weeks

I can def still reach them, it just feels like it's more painful injecting than it used to be before, so I wasn't sure in case I was hurting something by continuing to do it on the love handles. I'll just continue there and hopefully the bruising calms down.

Should I do love handles? I've been doing side of stomach. That's what my instruction sheet says

I have been doing the sides of my stomach as well. The instruction sheet I was given said to do 2 inches under your belly button and all over.

I'm almost 23 weeks and my belly is really getting out there but I'm still injecting on the love handles. I've been having a pretty good streak of not bruising lately so I'm sticking to the same areas and praying they keep working for me.

I started on the belly then moved to the love handles @38 weeks it's getting harder for me with the belly and injectin heparin 2x a day I look forward to my 6 weeks of lovenox. However I think iam having a reaction to heparin cause it's all red and itchy.
