I've never been on Lovenox myself, but I have friends who have been. I believe that the normal protocol is to take you off Lovenox about 2-3 weeks before the scheduled section and transition you onto Heparin, because that only stays in your system 4-5 hours (so even if you need an emergency section the drug is pretty much out of your system). I hope I have this right, but that's my basic understanding of how its handled.

Thank you, I think your answer is correct. Someone on the pregnancy board said the same. I am calling the perinatal Dr TODAY!!!!!! I am totally freaked out by this scenario!

Don't be. Both of my friends that were on Lovenox, had great pregnancies and were fine. I know its scary, all medical things scare the he** out of me, but my experience is that most of the things we worry about never happen. It sounds like your doing all that you can, keep asking questions and it will all work out.
