Ob who delivers at LIJ??
I'm still trying to find an Ob who delivers at LIJ (New Hyde Park). I'm trying to stay away from huge, group practices.
Anyone??

Not sure if it's the same thing - but my doctor delivers at North Shore --- and I love them so far. It's Dr. Trongone, there's one more doctor there but I've been going to them since being 8 weeks pregnant and the whole staff including nurses are amazing. Their office is in Manhasset.

Women for Women OB/GYN delivers at LIJ (NHP). It's 3 or 4 MDs and 1 NP. They only have 1 office so they aren't jumping around different days of the week to other offices. Their office is right next to LIJ. I went there for years (not for OB) and I really liked going there. For OB I think you rotate between all the MDs so you are familiar with everyone when you deliver. Sometimes the waits were a little long but all the MDs and NP are very nice and take time to answer your questions. If I didn't have to change insurance I would still be there.

Northern OB/GYN on New Hyde Park RD.
Although there are a few 5 OB and one that is only GYN. I have never felt like they all weren't on the same page. I feel comfortable with each one of them to deliver my baby and with the care they deliver.
Dr's Wendy Fried, Brian Cooperman, Doreen Marinese, Hetty Chung, Dr Shi.

I've seen 2 of the 4 MDs...have my next appt wtih dr #3 next Monday. All appts I've had with them have been at night and never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes. I've just jinxed myself for my next appt! Not sure what happens once you've seen all 4 though. So far so good with them.

Dr. Traugott in Franklin square. He is the only Dr and delivered both my kids. He is friendly and laid back and I never wait long. FM for more information.

Northern OB/GYN only delivers at Manhasset as far as I know. I used to go there. I wanted LIJ NHP so I switched to Dr.Clifford Goldstein in Great Neck. I loved both practices but highly recommend Dr.Goldstein if you want to stick with New Hyde Park.
