I went back & forth between 2 practices, in the end I chose the one that delivers at NSUH, but the other was a large practice in Manhasset, Dr. Valerie Altman or Dr. Schulz were both doctors I had read great reviews on there, do a search and see if they'd work for you! I went with the other practice b/c it was smaller but I've read nothing but good things about Dr. Altman and the other docs at the Ann & Jules Gottlieb center. Good luck!

I recommend Ann and Jules Gottleib as well. I am with Dr. Altmann. I have no complaints.

thanks! I see that there are alot of Doctors at Ann and Jules Gottleib ... 7 doctors? 1 of them is a male- do patients only see the one doctor they choose or do they have to see all of them as to get acquainted with all of them before birth?

I have seen two others but that was only in emergency situations (ER and Labor and delivery visit). For reg office visits that have NOT rotated me.

ah, ok , good, so most likely the Dr that you have been seeing throughout the preg is the one who will deliver you then. So if we choose Dr Powers, for examlple, she will deliver the baby. Thanks!
