Just curious. I do but was thinking of taking it off so they can start making their own beds? They are 3

We just switched my DS to a twin....never did toddler and yup I have a rail. I will for a while as he is all over the bed. He's a roller!

i switched DS to a toddler bed when he was 3 and used the rails. at 3.5 i moved him to a twin bed and used the rails. it wasnt until he was almost 4 that i took away the rails. he rolled a lot.

We have the bed rail that only covers 3/4 of the side of the bed. She doesn't roll around all that much, but she will wake up if her stuffed animals fall on the floor, so for that reason we keep the bed rail on. When her conversion kit for the full-size bed arrives, I don't know what we will do. I hope we can minimize how many stuffed animals she brings to bed with her at that point.

No. He is 2 and has been in his twin bed for over a year and never fallen out. My older DD was a crazy sleeper and had bed rails until they broke when she was 3. She fell out of bed a few times. She is still a crazy sleeper that ends up all over her bed and never falls out anymore.

I have a body pillow under the sheet under the mattress protector.

I bought one but never put it on. The twin bed we bought didn't need a box spring so we skipped it. That makes the mattress pretty low. Plus, the bed could be adjusted to make it higher or lower, so we kept it on lowest level. I put a pillow on the floor just in case, but she has never rolled out.
