question for moms- pregnancy/labor related. MAY BE TMI
I am 38 weeks pregnant. All day today I have had diarrhea. Is this a sign of labor approaching? I never had this with my first 2.

I have heard that is a sign.
With my first, I had it while I was in the hospital a few hours before she was born. Not sure if it was related or just nerves.

With my son I had diarrhea for 12 hours. I thought it was just a bug. I'd have a contraction; then I'd have to go use bathroom. That was all night; next morning I woke up and had some bleeding and the contractions were less than 5 minutes apart. Had my son 5 hours later! I ws 37 w 3 d

I had it when my water broke but not sure if it was the nerves/ excitement.

Just finished watching my lamaze video (haha) and yes that is definitely a sign. The body is cleaning itself out for labor. Good Luck!! =)

For me it was. I was about 3cm dialated at this time but didn't go into "active" labor for another 20 hrs or so.

I heard it was a sign, I know someone this happened to and then had her baby the next day. Good luck.

It is but it still could be a few weeks away. I started getting diarrhea 3 weeks before DD came.
