Am I nuts for holding my DDs party in the backyard the first week of May? She'll be one the day before Easter and i don't know if people will be busy. Plus my sis, her god mom, is in a wedding the night before. I will have people for cake and pizza on her actual bday.

Nope not at all. My dd's birthday is 4/23. We try to do it outside every year. Who wants that mess in the house. This year I'm hoping to do it the last weekend of April, outside. The first year we got really lucky with her birthday. It was 70!!!
