Can't believe I'm still pregnant!
Well, I can since I was induced at 8 days late with DD around this time three years ago (her b-day is Tues). I'm 40w5d today and still no real contractions--just some cramps. I was 2 cm and more than halfway effaced at my appt on Thursday (but that was no change from previous week's appt). I go back on Tuesday. If I don't go by then, I think we'll induce on Wednesday. Since I was induced the first time, I really wanted the experience of going on my own this time. But I don't know if I can last past 41w2d. I feel ok--I'm just antsy! Plus, DD was 9.6lbs, so the longer I wait, the greater a chance I'll end up with a C. I'd like to avoid that, if possible.
I just had a pity party for one and ordered myself new boots from piperlime

I went to 40w3d this summer and I cried at the apptmt I had on my actual due date bc I couldn't believe a) that I was still pregnant and b) that I was still only fingertip dilated with no change from the previous 2 apptmts.
I went for a long uphill walk the day before I went into labor on my own. I walked for a good hour with DS and DH at Norman Levy Preserve in Merrick, it did the trick :)

Thanks, all! Still here. 41 weeks tomorrow but I think I just lost my plug so hopefully I won't make my next appt on Tuesday.
