Did it take you a while to believe that you were pregnant?
I've taken 3 positive tests, 3 mornings in a row, and I still don't believe it. Maybe I'm just paranoid, b/c unfortunately, I've seen a couple of pregnancies end early recently, but I just feel like either it's not real, or it won't last.
Am I the only one that feels like this?

How far along we're you until your first drs appointment? Did DH go with you?

I keep checking to see af has come because I'm still in disbelief. I'm counting the hours for Fri to get here so I can see the sac or sacs and then it'll be more real to me. I do talk to my embryo already as does dh. We are ecstatic and when the nurse called to tell me my beta numbers had doubled it made it more real.

Yes! Even after the doctor confirmed it it was hard to believe. It wasn't until I was maybe around the end of the 1st trimester it started to feel real.

I'm 33 weeks and there are days I still don't believe it. It definitely took a really long time to internalize it. Once the throwing up started, I had a hard time ignoring it though. (First pregnancy, that didn't happen until 9.5 weeks... this pregnancy 5.5 weeks.) Congratulations!!!

Re: Did it take you a while to believe that you were pregnant?
The only thing that makes it seem real if the constant nausea and now the fact that my clothes don't fit!
After knowing that we barely even had a chance to conceive on our own and still not that much better with IVF... I still find myself having a hard time believing in. It took weeks after the Dr. confirmed it for me to start being excited cause I was so shocked and cautious.

To me, it didn't really feel real until we had the NT scan. At around 12w the baby starts to look like...well, a baby!

Looks like I won't believe it until I give birth.
My first drs appt wont be for 5 weeks, and I thought it won't feel real until then. That's so far away!
