Anyone have a white/off-white coat and work in city?
I just bought this coat from REI and I'm wondering if it was a mistake. I live and work in the city and there is always a ton of slush and grossness in the winter--does anyone have experience with this? I have to decide if I should return or not...its washable but since I only have laundry in my building's basement, I wouldn't be washing it weekly.....

I have a winter white coat and live in the city as well. I have to have it dry cleaned at least once during the winter to keep it looking nice. It's worth it to me though. I love that coat!

If its not going to be the only coat u will be wearing, keep it.
I don't think u will be getting splashed. Maybe your shoes.. Then again, I always wear black so who knows how dirty my coats are lol

I had one and it wasn't as bad as I expected. The only part that really got dirty was the cuffs of the sleeves. I wore it almost everyday.

I live and work in the city and have had a few white coats. I really love them. I don't wear it when its super rainy or slushy but they are fine for daily wear and on the subway.

I have a white burberry quilted jacket and a white north face denali and work in the city. They are way more likely to get dirty from me wearing them around DS than from being in the city lol

I never wore white coats when I lived/worked in the city. I bought one after I moved back to LI. Everything got so much dirtier in the city. Sometimes I would just bump someone on a crowded sidewalk and I'd get their soda on my coat. I've gotten pretzel mustard on me also.
