S/O gifts from Santa vs gifts from parents
How do you differentiate gifts from Santa vs gifts from parents?
Growing up my parents used different paper. One roll of paper was from Santa and another roll was from the parents.
DH family only wrapped presents from parents. The presents from Santa were never wrapped.

Different paper. I even take it a step further. Each DS has different patterned paper from mom and dad. Then Santa wrapped one DS in green and one DS in gold. Yes, I'm a lunatic.

My parents would just tell us "This is from us" "This one is from Santa" as we opened packages. Once I was old enough to read it was on the label.
I do like the Santa uses Santa paper idea, I might have to steal that for next year!

I don't think you are a lunatic! That's how it was for me as a kid and that's how I want to do it for DS's. We picked one paper from us and then Santa wrapped DS#1 in Peanut's paper (because he is in love with Charlie brown Christmas this year) and DS#2 is in Cars paper (because it was left over (from Santa last year - lest DS#1 notice)
DH didn't have it like that. I figured it saves on tags too - only need one and then they know which is theirs. But DH put one on each this year...now he will know.

Santa gifts are in one paper and hte paper has to have santa on it and each kid has their own santa paper. This year DS1's santa paper is blue with santa on it and says believe. DS2s is red with just a picture of santa.
Then gifts from us are in another paper, but just one paper.

Santa has Santa paper. The rest are from us.
Growing up the gifts just said they were from Santa...of course my Mom's handwriting kind of gave it away.
