Do you think an 8 year old would be into hello kitty?
I'm having second thoughts about what I bought for my friend's daughter. It's a big set of stationary supplies like mini notebooks, highlighters, notecards, erasers, stickers, etc. I feel like I would have liked that stuff even in high school but there's probably an in between stage when it's not as cool. I wanted something different and easy to pack up after christmas since they'll be flying home. Thoughts?

it depends on the child, but my niece is 9 and not into hello kitty at all
she does like fun notebooks.stickers and that kind of stuff though so you never know

I was told that One direction is the new 8 yr old Must have this year by my friend.
Maybe throw a poster or something in the mix as well.?

Depends on the child. My DD is 7...soon to be 8 and she is not into her anymore but I see some of the kids in her class are.

My oldest DD is 8. I don't think she would ask for Hello Kitty stuff anymore, but she would totally use all the stuff in the set. My 6 yr old would probably like it more though.
