What do you do after an IUI
What do you do after you get an IUI? My doctor said don't take Advil and continue on your day. But it feels weird to go on with my day as if they didn't just do it.
Ladies who have had IUIs, do you take it easy? Do anything special?

My first IUI I took the day off and relaxed at home. My second IUI (I did b2b IUI) I went right from the RE office to work both days and got my BFP. I felt fine after all of my IUIs, no cramps of spotting. They just have you lie on the table for 5-10 minutes after the procedure than you can go about your day.

My IUI was at about 7 in the morning and I went to work right after. Got my BFP 12 days later.

Thanks, it makes sense I guess... you go on about your day if you  in the morning. It just seems weird after going through all of it to go on about your day.
I didn't go to work, because I generally go part time anyhow. But I went home and wrapped presents. I did decide to skip doing laundry and walking up and down my basement stairs holding a basket.

What do you do after an IUI
On my 3rd and only successful IUI, we drove to Boston and went to a Celtics game immediately after! No need to
Take it easy! IMO, it's better to just go about your day... The you're not thinking about it so much.

Just went on with my day. The day I had my iui which eventually resulted in being pregnant with dd1 I went and cut down a Christmas tree, carried it all over with dh, dragged into our house and decorated. Dr said there was no reason to take it easy.

With IUI's, they place the sperm so deep in the uterus that you do not need to abstain from normal activity. I think I went to work after the few that I had.
