Baby Shower location frustration
sorry for beating a dead horse but any recs for western Suffolk to eastern Nassau for about 20 - 25 people?
Most places have 30 - 40 minimum.
Not really looking to spend over $34 pp and not picky on what type of food. Just want a laid back atmosphere and not hoity toity.
A lot of places I found that were recommended aren't even in business any more so it's adding to my frustration
Yay it's so much fun planning my own shower
Thanks chicas

Alyssa try Bulldog Grille in Amityville. I am paying $29.95 pp for my sisters bridal shower but they can accommodate any size party. Its just 30 min for the upstairs room.

I had my bridal shower at the Library Cafe and it was great. I think the minimum was 20 or 25 for the upstairs room.

I had my bridal shower at The Irish Coffee Pub.
They did such a great job - I had a brunch/tea type shower.

I had mine at Peppercorns in Hicksville. I really think that they gave me the most for my money and was very reasonable. You can also try the Milleridge Inn, they have many different rooms.

Not sure of their prices but how about Chat Noir in RVC?
Not sure if Lake Grove is too far east but I just booked my shower at John Harvards for $17.99/pp w/ no minimum.
Davenport Press is $29/pp according to their site.
Ayhan's - 10 person min. - prices start at $22/pp
Cafe Baci - prices start at $22/pp
Not sure of their prices but Hemingways, Singletons, Passione, Cafe Formaggio...
What I did was just go on Google Maps, typed in restaurants and did my search from there.

Crashing... (well, sort of).
What about where you had your bridal shower? The name escapes me.
I second the Library Cafe
Do you have any Knights of Columbus near you? Then you can get food catered.

Have you looked at Katie Daly's in Massapequa? My bridal shower was there and I loved it. Low key and they did a great job- food is great too and the staff is so nice! Their website says they do parties of 20-140. Not sure what their prices are like though.

Oh that's sad- I didn't know that! I don't live near there and haven't been there since my shower. Too bad, that was a great place.

Crashing, Runyons in Seaford has a room that can fit that amount of people. I had my shower booked there originally but my guest list grew so I had to cancel.
