Mom to be/new mom groups?
Does anyone know of any in suffolk? Like a casual atmosphere to get to know new mamas?

have you tried a local mothers' center? there is one in massapequa, mid-shore mothers center. great place to meet all kinds of mom's.

You can also try your local library's children's room. I'm a children's librarian and many moms meet up in the children's area.

I was in a New Moms Support Group that was part of Good Sam. I delivered there, but I don't think you need to deliver there in order to participate. They have a site in Babylon where they hold tons of classes.
LOVED that group!

CFA in Smithtown has a New Mom's group that just started. They meet every Tuesday from 2:30-4:00. They are an AWESOME group! Give us a call for more information. You can start right away!
