red spots on belly

DD is almost 2 and for the past couple weeks she has had red spots on her legs. I chalked it up to dry skin (she has very dry skin). Today DH just called me to tell me she now has the spots on her belly. I have to go home and look at it but now I am concerned. We have not given her any different foods that might cause a reaction. She did have diarrhea yesterday, but was fine after it. Ughh, I wish she could tell me what was going on.

Any thoughts? Experiences?

Is she itchy? Could be a lot of things...anything from a reaction to detergent to chicken pox! Hopefully it's nothing, though. DS is only 9 months old and has very sensitive skin so he tends to get spots on different parts of his body at times and it's never anything.

could be coxsackie, but thats usualy more of a summer thing
