Coxsackie: how long after initial fever did it take for the red spots to appear?

Coxsackie: how long after initial fever did it take for the red spots to appear?
Daycare sent home a letter stating a child in DD class had coxsackie on tues. yesterday DD came down with a 102.8 (rectal temp) and today it's around 101.
When and where did u first notice the spots? She has a few red bumps on her butt which she never gets.
I'm hoping it's just an ear infection... Goiing to ped at 330 and see what he thinks.

Dd had sores in Her throat within 2 days she never got the spots.

My DD got sores about 2 days after the fever began. But on the day the fever began she was saying her mouth hurt but I could not see anything yet. For her the spots on her body came around the time that the sores came.

It's coxsackie. Dr found 2 sores on side of her tongue. Ears are fine.

DD got the spots on her hands and feet 2 and a half days after the fever... which was when I got my fever.  I got my spots and blisters in my throat 2 days after that. For DD, her spots only lasted a day or two and they weren't too bad in her throat. For me it was 2 or 3 days, and I couldn't eat anything at all.
Wash your hands a million times a day and be careful not to share food - it's so contagious!

It was two days after. Right after his fever broke. Those two days with the fever were a nightmare though. My poor DS wouldn't eat or sleep.

On the 3rd day. She probably got it overnight between day 2 and 3. She went to bed with no spots at end of 2nd day of fever. Up all night screaming in pain. I hoped it was an ear infection as I didn't see spots when she awoke but by the time I got to ped - she had spots all over her back of throat. By that late afternoon they covered her body. Fever broke the next day.
