Another one for my Lovenox girls
Did you have to change the course of treatment and up your dose of Lovenox throughout the pregnancy?
I was on one shot a day and last night at my 14 week scan, Dr. Kofinas wasn't thrilled with the bloodflow around the placenta and the valves opening or smt of the sort, and upped me to two shots a day. He explained that the placenta is fully developed by 20 something weeks and he wants to make sure nothing inhibits it's growth in the early stages... Baby looks great now and is measuring right on track and even slightly bigger, but he's concerned about 3rd trimester growth 
Any similar experiences?

Sorry…not that far along. But on the lovenox front, do you have to get your INR levels tested?

Is that the blood test they do once a month 4 hours after the Lovonox injection? Ye I do it every month and I'm on the lover range of normal. We'll see what happens during this moth of upping the dose to twice daily. Really hoping It'll do the trick!

Another one for my Lovenox girls
I am nine weeks and Dr. b just upped me to twice a day. I also see Dr. Kofinas, but am not going back til 12 weeks.

I got a DVT while on 40mg once a day. So my dosage was increased to 80mg twice a day.

i was a dr. kofinas patient and he definitely upped my dose a few times! the first time was when i switched from my RE over to him and then later in the pregnancy when the baby was measuring a little small.

This pregnancy and the last I was kept steady on 40mg of Lovenox the entire way
up to the heparin stage and back to 40 postpartem
