For the first time tonight, I have to say I'm nervous. For ladies that did the injections in their stomach area did you have to switch sides each time?

Re: Injecting

I switched each night or tried to but I would honestly lose track some days of which side I did not before and it was fine. I always iced my belly and felt it helped a lot! Most times I barely felt needle. Good luck!

Injecting

The injections became a breeze after I started doing it. I only switched sides bc I'm crazy and thought it would affect both the right and left ovaries. Like I said I'm crazy.

The only thing I had to seriously switch sides for was the progesterone but I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Its not so bad. DH does them for me. What are you on? Gonal F is super easy, Menopur is not exciting. You get use to it real quick. I switch sides each day. SO today both shots on my right, tomorrow both shots on my left. Sometimes I have some small bruises. Good luck!

I do them myself and I'm so used two them it's second nature. I switch sides bc I bruise easily and after 1-2 injections it shows. You will get used to them. When I first started this whole process my SO did them. Big mistake. He was nervous and it hurt! I took over and they barely hurt. Suggestion. Mix menopur and let sit for a few minutes before you inject. Less burning.
