still can't believe it's mommy

should i wake her up or throw her in crib?

My 2yr old naps on & off but didn't nap yesterday or today because my in-laws took her overnight.
Of course she fell asleep on the 20 minute ride home at 4:30pm!
I just brought her in & tried to wake her but she's can't keep her eyes open.
Do you think there's a chance she would actually sleep all night if i just put her in her crib now now at 5:30?
Anyone ever try it?
She's sleeping on me now & I'm not sure what to do.

I'd let her sleep till 6 or so and get her up for a bit before putting her back down. Just long enough to feed her something for dinner.

This works for my DS....but he's a great sleeper. I'd be able to put him back to bed around 8:30 for the night.

dd did this yesterday. Fell asleep at 5pm and we tried to wake her at 7:30p and brought her down to the couch. Finally she woke up for about 30 min, ate and then went back to sleep until almost 8 am this morning.
