Everything getting throw out of the crib
The last couple of nights Mason has been taking everything and throwing it out of the crib. He's usually great at putting himself to sleep. I put him down in the crib and he usually goes right to the paci's, makes himself comfy (once in a while he'll roll around) and goes to sleep on his own.
Now my 14.5 month old likes to throw out thethe stuffed animals in the crib and all the paci's. I have him off the paci's during the day and he only gets it at night.
After he throws everything out he cries!
What's with the sudden change?

Re: Everything getting throw out of the crib
What happens when he throws everything out?
Do you go back in when he cries and replace everything in the crib?

The first night I did and last night I made him CIO. He finally went to sleep on his own so I put the paci's back in his crib along with his stuffed animals in the middle of the night when he was sleeping just in case he wakes up trying to reach for something.
At 5AM he got up crying and threw everything out again I get up at 5:30 AM to get up for work and didn't want to work with him on getting him back to sleep or do the CIO since I was getting up soon. Just took him in our room and put on Sesame Street. He watched with DH while I got dressed

my girls did this too and the phase didn't last long. However I did eliminate a lot of stuff in their crib so now they just have a book (its a cotton one) and their glow worm.

Re: Everything getting throw out of the crib
My DD has been doing this for around 2 months now
and still does!
I think she likes watching them fall, see where they land....she has about 6 lovey's in her crib and laughs with them etc...then stands up, and throws them over
Every morning when DH or I go to get her, we have to pick up her lovey's all over her room

Re: Everything getting throw out of the crib
If he throws his paci out, don't give it back to him - maybe now is a good time to get him off of it for good.
Our house rule is WE DON'T THROW TOYS, WE THROW KISSES *SMOOCH*
Maybe give him back to him once and say if he throws it out again, he won't get it back. Let him CIO for a bit and see how it goes.

Shaylie has been doing the same thing for months now and she usually does it when I put her down for a nap. She definately enjoys watching things fall. What is frustrating is that many times she throws on the side where the crib is up against the wall & I have to move the crib
When I go in to get her and I pick up everything, she tosses everything out again while I'm in the room.
