BTDT Moms: Birthday Parties & RSVPs
DS will be having his 4th birthday party at one of the bouncy house places in a few months. His nursery school class has 18 kids. I plan to invite everyone. What kind of RSVP should I expect? 2/3 of the kids? 1/2 the kids?
I'm probably having it on a Saturday morning at 10 or 11am, within 20 minutes of our hometown.

Re: BTDT Moms: Birthday Parties & RSVPs
We usually get 60-80% attendance. We allow some siblings so it turns about to be about 100% number of classmates if that makes sense.
1st yr - 8/14 kids came (no siblings) 2nd yr - 10/16 classmates plus 6 siblings so 16 kids from school
At DS's preschool, many siblings seem to attend parties.
We usually see 7-10 classmates at each party. Depending on the venue, turnout seems to increase or decrease. ie. at an ice skating party, only 4 kids came (including birthday boy) but we've seen bounce house parties with the highest attendance rates, esp if siblings are also invited.

Re: BTDT Moms: Birthday Parties & RSVPs
last year, every single kid I invited said yes to ds's party. 2 didn't come at the last minute though. This year, I tried to keep it smaller. Invited 19 kids and 16 came.
