When did your LO drop down to 4 bottles?
DD is 4 months and currently takes 5 bottles. She does:
4/5 am- 4 oz
8 am- 7 oz and cereal
12 pm- 7-8 oz
4 pm- 7-8 oz
8 pm- 7 oz and cereal
I want to drop the 4/5 am bottle. She's already drinking and eating so much during her other feedings. I don't mind if it pushes her bottles back and she ends up waking earlier for the day. When did you drop down to 4 bottles? How did you do it? I'm thinking of adding an extra ounce into the other bottles and doing 4 8oz bottles to keep the ounces the same for the day.

we dropped to 4 bottles around 5 months. we did 4 7 oz bottles.
she was also getting oatmeal and purees 2x daily.
she would have a bottle at 7am, 11am, 3pm, and 7pm.

This is exactly the schedule I would like her to have!! What time was the bottle that you dropped? Did you drop it or did she just stop waking up for it?

When did your LO drop down to 4 bottles?
We dropped the early bottle. ( I would give the paci instead if she woke up) so that 5 am was stretched to 7 , and now she wakes up around 630 and will play in the crib until I get her up and give the bottle.

I follow DS's lead. If he's hungry, I feed him. He is 7 months old and still sometimes has 5 bottles a day. He's actually been drinking fewer ounces (he seems to prefer food now) so I need to give him that extra bottle to get enough formula into him!

We dropped to 4 bottles around 4 months. She was previously getting a bottle at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm. We slowly started decreasing the 11pm until eventually we stopped waking her for it.
We then gave her slightly larger bottles at the other 4 times to account for it.

This exactly! now that DS is on 4, do the last one at 8pm instead of 7

she would get oatmeal and a puree-sweet potatoes, etc...morning and night with the 4 bottles. this was also at 5 months. at 6 months we went to 3 meals a day
