So embarrassed

I signed all my paperwork for my up coming cycle about 2 weeks ago, that day was just a super busy day . My nurse gave me a script for folgard and I forgot all about it. I just found it amongst paperwork . My question is when should I be taking it? I'm so embarrassed that I even forgot about it completely , idk if I should have started 2 weeks ago or if its for when I start my meds. I feel stupid even calling the RE asking this question almost like I wasn't paying attention. I hope one of you ladies can help

I don't know what that is - but you should call ASAp and ask.

It happens! You are taking in so much information at once - don't beat yourself up!

Re: So embarrassed

Folgard is prescription strength folic acid. Usually if u have mthfr dna mutations. Won't affect your cycle negatively if you forgot until now

It's just folic acid. You will take it throughout your pregnancy even without fertility treatments.

I don't see it as a big deal that you forgot

This. Just go ahead and start taking it now. If you're on a prenatal - you're already getting some folic acid. If your deficient, it's more important - but not a huge deal either way.

Yes I started it today, they said it was on the lower side so even though I'm on prenatals I need some extra, thanks ladies.
