When can I strap babies directly into the City Mini?
I've been using the Snap & Go for my babies, but I'm just wondering when I can buckle them directly into the City Mini for walks.

Re: When can I strap babies directly into the City Mini?
As soon as they can sit up while propped in it. When they have enough head and neck control. I didn't buy my City Mini until DD was out of her infant seat- so it was like 10 months. But if I had it from the start I would have been able to use it much sooner.

I put DD in at 4 months and just had it reclined for her. I didn't use it all the time but it was nice to use occasionally.

This. We started using it around 4 months for DS b/c it was the summer and just too hot to use the car seat in the snap n go.
Plus, DS loves sitting and looking out at the world.

I think I used the regular stroller around 5 mo. They had good head control and could hold up propped.

Re: When can I strap babies directly into the City Mini?
I started using the citi mini alone fully reclined when my ds was 6 weeks, it was too not last summer for him to be in the carseat all the time!

K thanks! One of my boys has better head/neck control than the other, so ill have to wait it out a bit. They are only 9 weeks.

I bought an insert to help control their head from target and did it probably when they were a month old.

I put DS in it at 4 months. We moved him out of the infant carrier then too.

Re: When can I strap babies directly into the City Mini?
I had DS in his city elite after about a month and a half. We walk a ton and I hated going on walks with the snap and go and we hit the curb one day with it and he almost flipped ( I got really hurt saving him, but saved him which was most important).
He looked so little, but it was more comfy, better for flat head and not at warm. Definitely better wheels for long walks. Manual said you could use it from birth.
