OPK Schedule
DH and I are taking this month off from TTC and I am going to start using OPK's during my September cycle. Can someone share what their schedule is for checking with OPK's...what CD do you start and do you test every day or every other day?

There's a good chart on cycle length and when to start testing here...

You test every day. My RE had me test in the morning and at night, but before I started seeing him i just tested in the morning. I used wondfos bc they are inexpensive and testing twice a day I went through them quick. Some ladies don't like them, but I never had a problem with them and found them easy to read.

I have used OPKs for 4 cycles so far and always got a + between cd19-22, but I start testing at cd10 just in case, as my cycles have varied from 28-53 days in the past year. I use the amazon cheapies and test 1x a day unless it looks like it might be darkening. Then I have been known to test as much as 2-4x in a day

I usually start on cd 8 and test once a day with the clearblue easy digital smiley OPK. They are sensitive and very easy to use! I also get these on amazon and they are much cheaper than in stores.
