DH repainted living room - What color for accent?
So DH came home the other night, surprisingly excited with the idea of repainting the living room. I gave in since he was so excited. I hate it. I am one for shades of stone and muted. It is a bright teal. It goes with nothing we already have in the room.
My question is, what color accents would go best with the color walls, and chocolate brown furniture? Image Attachment(s):

I would say either chocolate brown, or black furniture...you can also maybe add some yellow accents??? (I could be wrong on that though!)

I have this color as an accent wall, while the remainder is a light stone grey- but my furniture is charcoal colored. I would think if you did a cream/coffee colored wall, it would go nicely with your furniture. Something like this

Re: DH repainted living room - What color for accent?
Thanks everyone. Maybe I'll convince Dh to paint a more neutral color on one wall. I like the idea of the red or yellow. I'll try to post a picture of the room when I get home from work tonight.

Re: DH repainted living room - What color for accent?
I would basically do neutral colors as accent colors. I LOVE this color normally but it could become very overwhelming very quickly.
Would he be interested in doing 1 wall that color or having that be the accent color?
