what color to paint living room? OPINIONS PLEASE
Okay ladies... as some of you know, i hate choosing paint colors. Well, my kitchen/dining room area is a very pale green. The office/foyer area is a light beige color.
Now the couches we ordered for the living room are kahki colored. So what color do you think we should paint the living room? Any ideas?

What about a neutral-ish yellow (if that makes sense). Not something bold but understated. I think it would compliment your other colors as well as new furniture.

I have Benjamin Moore Antique Linen (flat) throughout the house and I really love it. It works well with everything (even my apple green kitchen).

Antique linen... is that a white color?

I would say a yellow would probably look nice with that. A blue might also be good.

our bathroom on that floor is blue. Do you think that matters? I mean we could do a pale blue (our bathroom is called polar sky and is quite blue  ). Maybe a very very light blue?

I think if they're very different styles and different blues, then it wouldn't matter. If you were afraid there was too much blue, you could always continue the beige color on the walls into the living room and do blue accents.

No, it's yellowish/beige-ish. I have pics somewhere, I'll see if I can get them...

I think that color goes with everything. I have to take new pictures but I have a green kitchen, and it works fine.
I do LOVE the way that blue & brown look together. My brother did his basement in a greyish blue with a khaki paint and cream colored sofas. It looks amazing! Yes, the contrast is exactly what makes it so stunning!

Our living room/dining room is antique white so if you want to see it come on over. I would definately stay with a lighter color in that room as dark colors can make the room feel smaller. But I love the idea of doing the browns/blues and that would really complement the rest of the hosue. Try to find a really light shade of chocolate brown, I think it would look great.

yeah i think a really light brown or light blue would look good. So back to the paint store i go!!! God i hate that place.
