Any Habit/Lifestyle changes when TTC?
I saw the post on drinking before the 2ww, and I wondered if anyone made any big changes before/during their TTC period?
In addition to the vitamins (which I may restart in light of what y'all said) I was thinking of maybe dropping a few extra pounds and maybe getting into a walking regiment? Maybe it will make it easier to lose baby weight after, and maybe I won't have so much to lose at the end if I started at a lower/healthier weight.
Anything else that you ladies did/plan to do/wanted to do but never got around to (as I will probably NOT get around to dropping any pounds lol)
Sorry if I'm posting a lot, but I'm new at this and have all kinds of thoughts floating around in my head!

Any Habit/Lifestyle changes when TTC?
It's def a good idea to get into better health, regardless of weight. I'm still doing Weight Watchers (down almost 10 pounds - back down after gaining a few after the miscarriage), and I go to the gym every morning Monday - Friday for about 1.5 hours (eliptical/running and weights). It is recommended to get into whatever exercise regime you want to do during pregnancy BEFORE hand so as to not adding to your body's stress.

The only change I made, besides taking vitamins, was reduce the amount of caffiene I was drinking. I was drinking way too much and I cut back to about 3 cups of coffee a week.

Reduce caffiene even during TTC? Not just when you're pregnant? Well, that is certaintly disheartening. I enjoy 3 cups of coffee every morning. I guess I'll start weaning now :/

YES!!!! Caffeine can actually affect your fertility & ovulation (from what I've read).

I lost some weight and developed healthy eating habits that I could continue through my pregnancy.
I also cut back on my caffeine. Since I didn't want to go through bad caffeine withdrawals after I got my BFP I cut back slowly to 1 cup a day while TTC since I personally am not comfortable with more than that in the 1st tri.

I cleaned up my diet, cut out things that I thought were unhealthy and started to workout more.

I cut down on coffee. I used to have it everyday and now I have it approx 2x/week. I did it partly because of TTC but also because I hated the way I would feel if I would go a day without coffee. Didn't like the feeling that I needed it to function.
I'm also on prenatal vitamins but in addition to that, my RE put me on an extra dosage of folic acid.
I want to get more active the way I used to be, but I'm making small gradual changes.

I had really long cycles before going on the pill and had a really long cycle when I went off. When 45+ days passed with no AF and BFN I assumed I wasnt ovulating and decided to cut out alcohol, caffeine, and start drinking red raspberry leaf tea in hopes that it might help regulate my cycle and help me ovulate. DH told me he didnt think that would make a difference and to enjoy myself while I could, so I went back to old habits after 2-3 days and got a very unexpected BFP a few days later. So, it didnt matter for us because it turned out I had ovulated and gotten pregnant before my short-lived change of habits.
This time around I didn't really change any habits aside from getting more serious about remembering to take my prenatals. But, after BFN, early loss, BFN, I am changing it up this month. Stopped drinking caffeine, cutting out alcohol except for very special occasions, trying to eat healthier, go to bed earlier, drink lots of water, and restarting the RRL tea. Also have been taking b6 since last cycle to help lengthen my luteal phase which is on the short side. We'll see if it makes a difference... if not, at least I will probably lose weight! I am down 2-3 lbs already.
Oh, and I also started using OPKs the cycle before TTC to help pinpoint O given my irregular cycles.
I think prenatals are the most important thing to do though, you want folic acid in your system before you get pregnant

I did nothing except to quit smoking and start taking prenatal vitamins. I didn't want to add to the stress of major lifestyle changes while were TTC, as that can sometimes throw off cycles.

Vitamins and more working out. I have been trying to eat healthier and try to avoid drinking in the 2ww.
