How many days at each park

I am trying to figure out how many days we should go for. Also are any parks just a half day

we will be going with A 4.5, and twin 2.5 year olds all boys - and with active grandparents to help

Re: How many days at each park

You could do Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios as a half day or a full day based on your kids. I personally find AK to be a better fit for my kids, but some people will say the same about HS. You could easily do either (or both) from open until nap time. Then you can have some down time or pool time at your resort.
I don't find Epcot to be worth it to my kids. We can easily skip Epcot for the next few years.
Magic Kingdom is where you'll spend the most time. We spend one, long day there each time we go. We don't get o go on everything, but we go on all the big ones our kids like. But we also rush around the oak to get it all one. You can easily spend two days doing it at a more leisurely pace and probably go on everything.

Re: How many days at each park

MK = 2 days
Epcot = 1 day
AK = 1 day
HS I found it to be too many SHOWS too much coordinating of times for young kids. THey have the playhouse disney stuff but we went 1x and didnt really love HS. So thats up to you!

We love epcot, even my kids enjoy it! And because we have to break for naps we tend to do more than 1 day at epcot, but it depends on how long you have to spend in the Disney area.

We usually get tot he parks after breakfast. Go until about 1pm, head back for nap, downtime, pool time. Then go back to the park from say 5pm ish (do dinner there) and then leave at closing.

Also plan some time at downtown disney. They ahve some great restaurants, and my older son LOVES walking around the Lego store etc. There are also some attractions there but we have never done them.

ETA: If I were planning my first trip, I would do at least 4 nights, 5 days. just so you dont feel so rushed.

We did AK and HS in a half day. I didn't think that DS would like HS (he was 2 3/4 at the time) but, they had a full sized Mater and Lighting McQueen, the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground, and the Playhouse Disney show. He also enjoyed Toy Story Mania (which he may enjoy more now that it's his favorite movie). He also enjoyed the character breakfast with the Disney Jr characters there (that's why we went in the first place).

We did 4 half days at MK - we could have done it in 3 but, we had an extra day on our tickets so we went back (we did half days each day and then the pool at the resort in the afternoon to avoid as many meltdowns as possible).
