how many days: Hershey park

how many days do you actually need for hershey?
we did 2 nights at DW last year but there's a lot to do in lancaster
debating on staying at the eden again and driving to hershey if only one day is needed there and then spending another day in lancaster??? decisions, decisions!!: )

We went last year, and did the night before and then all the next day (think it's called the twilight pass or something). It was enough time. My DD was 2, and there were four adults so really the adults went on most of the rides and she did a few rides (she had to ride alone and was too scared at that point to do that so she didn't go on too much) and some of the games, and, of course, the carousel.

I think one day would be enough, but if you're thinking of doing the water area, you may need extra time. We didn't go to that area of the park and I think they've expanded it so you may want to factor that in.
