Carrier in the winter
I was just looking at some places to purchase my baby carrier (ERGObaby), as I just found out that the one I registered for has been sold out for months!!! 
I was looking at pictures and discovered that not one picture has someone carrying their child in one of these with a coat on. Are they difficult to wear in the winter? Can you wear it over a winter coat?

Carrier in the winter
I put my carrier on first then put my coat over (unzipped) so it kept the baby warm too. He stayed nice and warm in there.

ETA: You can also put a blanket over the baby in the carrier if you're worried about him/her being cold.

agreed with all of this! I used the moby wrap with my first and loved it- I know my friend found it too warm in the summer months but it was perfect for us in the winter

Carrier in the winter
I also put my carrier on and put the coat over us both. I also have a peekaru vest. Maternity coats work well for front carries.
