As long as you CAN wear it, who cares how old you are. I see 16 year olds who have NO business wearing a 2 piece do it. If your body allows it, go for it.
Agree. To me it's not about age it's about your body type. We went to a water park the other day and I saw some young girls wearing bikinis who had no business at all wearing one. Do what makes you feel good.

Exactly! I am 39 and trust me when I tell you I am NOT too old. I will be wearing bikinis for many many more years.
I can't imagine wearing anything else.

What??? 40 too old to wear a bikini??? Doesn't she know 40 is the new 30? Lol. Women today don't look like the women that were in their forties and fifties 30-40 years ago. I'm 51 and still wear a bikini and so do all of my girlfriends.
I think that is the thing as women were "older" as 40 year olds then we are. They thought when they became mothers that they needed to cut their hair short, not worry about their weight and that they needed to dress older.

I haven't worn a one piece since I was a young kid and always have said I won't wear one. I have worn the tankini's but my dh has said he doesn't like them (especially the one ones with the skirt-which I find cute) and doesn't want me to wear them. lol.

I did the same, I either wore a bikini or I had a pretty maternity tankini.

Wear your bikini!!!!! I don't understand why we are expected to wear clothing that isn't comfortable just because of our age. I don't wear a bikini but a. ) I plan to be back in one after only a few more pounds shed and b.) I don't understand why I'm expected not to wear shorts. I'm supposed to wear winter clothes just because of my age? I am 45.

Agree with above, if you can wear it, why not. I am into 30's and I would definitely still wear one but I just had two kids! I am more comfortable in a tank and shorts but I never go in the water!!

I agree completely. I really feel there isn't a set age. As a previous poster said sometimes I see people in their 30's and 40's look better than people in their teens!!!! If you have the body, rock it!
I still wear a bikini and I'm a mom!!!!
