So I'm at work, and went to the bathroom, and i had to spots of brown spotting in my underwear.
At 18 weeks they discovered that i have a cervical polyp, that migrated into the vagina.
My OB told me that it could cause me a problem the rest of the pregnancy, such a spotting or bleeding. But i havent had any spotting since 18 weeks.
I'm a RN, and im delivering at the hospital that im at work at right now.
Should i go up to L&D and get checked out or just call my OB?
Update: Saw my OB. She said everything looks perfect. The spotting has stopped, and she attributes it to the polyp. Cervix is long, and close. Baby is great.
I feel so much better!!

I tend to be an overreactor, and normally would say go up to L&D. But if it was only little spots and not red, I would maybe call the doctor first and see what he/she says.

If it was bright red and there was alot- I'd say go to L&D

i absolutely love my OB!! She is my saving grace. She just called me, and said that she was in the hospital and that she is going to open up her office to check me, so i dont have to wait in L&D... i cant express how grateful i am for her!!!

I agree...you did the right thing by calling your OB. I've been to L&D 3 times this pregnancy and am SO tired of going but I'm glad that I get the peace of mind that everything is ok rather then guessing. I feel as though when it comes to our babies there are NO stupid questions or concerns!
