Mucinex Question
So I've read on here a lot that women are using Mucinex to help conceive. I'm confused bc Mucinex helps eliminate Mucus. Don't we need the CM to help the sperm along? I was telling DH that I was going to start taking it, and he replied with "I don't get how that would help- but let's try anything at this point" And after he said he didn't get it- I was thinking- hmmm I really don't either lol. Anyone had any luck using it? Or spoke to their dr about it?

Mucinex Question
The mucinex helps to break up mucus of all types - the breaking up of sinus/chest mucus is what helps us to expel it from our bodies. In the case of CM, the thinner it is the better for conception, the mucinex helps to thin the CM to help facilitate this.

Re: Mucinex Question
I don't use mucinex but I do use preseed lubricant. I believe mucinex only works if you CM is thicker. The preseed is super slick so those little guys should have an easy time getting to their destination. Just use sparingly!!

Mucinex Question
I didn't use Mucinex, but I also never had real EWCM and was still able to conceive 2x after a few months (first was a chem).
