Crashing with q about first reponse fertility test
Hi there, not currently going through IF but used ivf to conceive my 11 month old triplets. We think we would like another in a few years and I'm 33. We had mfi as our primary issue but i had confusing results (great follicle count, responded awesome to clomid but poorly to injectIbles...low day 3 fsh except one month when it skyrocketed, then went back down). While cleaning the bathroom I found a couple of those first reponse fertility tests that came free with all the many, many pregnancy tests I bought back in the day. It was the right time pf the month so I took one :) The test line was def lighter than the control but not by much. Does anyone know if these tests are qualitative or quantitative? Meaning Does it matter how light the test is, or just that its lighter at all is just as good as if it was really light? Am I making sense? Jut wondering if the tide is indeed starting to turn against me :) thanks!

Are you talking about an opk? For some it does get darker the closer to ovulation and for others it can be light and then one day turn positive.

You use the stick on CD3. After 30 minutes, check the stick. If there is no test line or test line is lighter than the control line, your FSH is in normal range. If the test line is darker or the same as the control line, your FSH is elevated and they recommend seeing a doctor for further testing. HTH!
