Sick of people asking...
I know other people definitely must be dealing with this too- I'm so sick of people asking me "when" we're going to have a baby. I wish I knew myself!!
What's most annoying is- my close family and friends know how hard it's been for us and know we're ttc- so they'd never ask. It's always people that it's not really their business anyways (my boss, his mom who we barely talk to, a coworker I've never said more than hello to and today the woman at the bagel store!) I just feel like it's such a personal question. I'd never ask a couple about their personal decisions like that. I know they're trying to be friendly, but I feel like it's just personal and it's starting to really drive me crazy!!

People don't really understand how questions like that can be hurtful for someone who's struggling TTC. I know I didn't. Sometimes I'll joke and say that I have a child, he's 31 years old and doesn't like to share. Other times I'll say "Who knows? We make plans and God laughs" I think its sends the point across.

That's a good answer. Since we got married, we've been getting that question from EVERYBODY... everyone except my MIL, who just started hinting. I just had a MC and told very select family members and I swore them to secrecy from my grandparents - who are 80 - because I know they are itching for a great-grandchild.

I hear you... I have like 4 pregnant good friends right now and we are getting the whispers and questions non stop! I just answer them, "I wish I knew the answer for you!" and it usually ends there..lol

Ugh.. I hate that! I also hate the "just relax it will happen" comment - people who haven't gone through it do not understand at all. So, I don't talk about it anymore or tell anymore people that already know like close family and friends.... I feel your pain!

at first I responded with " we have been trying so we'll see" but then I was getting a lot people saying "it will happen" back and that annoyed me more- so now I just say "who knows" lol. it's just so aggravating and I guess I probably wouldn't of known what a personal and wrong question that was if I wasn't dealing with it.

Sick of people asking...
I remember going through that and it SUCKED!!! The worse was after we had a miscarriage and not a lot of people knew, we were in the hospital because SIL just gave birth and people kept saying it to us...I finally told them "when you have a baby, we'll have a baby" OR "when it becomes your business you'll be the first to know". I know I was rude but I found it to be rude of them...I know sometimes they were just trying to make conversation but if it's not their business I found it rude for them to ask such a sensitive question. Especially since you don't know people's situation.

People have boundary issues. When I was working and going to an RE, I was asked by this woman in my school if I get my periods regular. We were just standing in the middle of the hallways and she's asking about my vagina.  Looking back, I wish I had been like "Uh, do you?"

Ugh, people just don't get it. DH's cousin had a baby and when we went to see him, every time DH or I held the baby someone would make a comment like "See, don't you want one?" or "That baby looks good with you.....you should be having one" and I would get SO upset- no one stopped to think what we were going through. I'm sorry people are being so inconsiderate

I feel like people never know what to say!!  it is annoying if you are trying and don't want to share that with people so they should just keep their mouth shut if they don't know the situation or your feelings on the subject!
Before I got pregnant people would ask me all the time and follow it up with "you are getting up there in age" WHAT??? Mind your business!!!
I just think if I were you tell them how you feel about these questions...I did eventually

whenever anyone asks I would say I already do, I have my dog Rocky. 
No one knows that we're trying, and like it that way. A few people thinks that I wouldn't be having kids because of my age (will be 40 next year) so they don't ask.
I know it sucks but try to ignore them.

I feel your pain. Someone at work said to me "your child is getting really old? Why are you waiting so long to have another?! You really shouldnt wait so long...they should be close in age!!" And she's said it more than once and we're not even good friends. Its times like this I wish it was socially acceptable to punch people in the face.

Wouldn't that be nice?? I can think of so many occasions that I would have felt so much better after that!
